🍽 Family Dinner Nights

 Homemade Family Dinner

Some evenings are simple in the best way. A table set. Food shared. Stories unfolding without effort. That’s what this night is about.

Here’s what’s waiting for you:

🍲 Main Course
A traditional, home-cooked dish prepared slowly and served generously. The kind of meal that fills the room with comforting aromas before it even reaches the table.

🍚 Rice
Light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced — the quiet hero that brings everything together.

🥗 Salad
Fresh, seasonal vegetables, simply dressed. Crisp, colorful, and full of life.

🫒 Mezze
A selection of small plates made for sharing — familiar flavors, homemade textures, and recipes that belong to everyday family tables.

We gather around one table, pass the plates, and let the evening unfold naturally. No rush. No performance. Just good food and good company.

🌇 Social Atmosphere & Rooftop Views

Second Home is a friendly, social and lively hostel where travelers from all around the world meet, share stories and create unforgettable memories.
Our rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the Bosphorus and both sides of Istanbul. It’s the perfect place to relax, listen to music, enjoy shisha and meet fellow travelers.

🎲Game Night & Hangout at Terrace

💨 Shisha & BYOB
Shisha is available on the rooftop.
And if you’ve got your own drinks, feel free to bring them along-BYOB is always welcome!

🎲 ROOFTOP GAME NIGHT
Not every night in Istanbul needs a plan. Sometimes the best nights start with a simple question: “Who’s in for a game?”
Our Game Night brings travelers together on the rooftop terrace for an easygoing evening full of laughs, a bit of competition, and plenty of unexpected moments. The rules are simple: grab a drink, join a table, and see where the night takes you.

🍺 Beer Pong & Friendly Competition
Beer Pong is usually where things heat up. Teams form quickly, strangers become teammates, and before long the whole table is cheering, laughing, and debating whether that last shot really counted.

🃏 Card Games & Board Games
Not into Beer Pong? No problem. There’s always a deck of cards on the table and a few classic board games ready to go. Sometimes the quietest games end up creating the best conversations.

🎯 Darts, Challenges & Random Fun
Feel like testing your aim? Grab a few darts and start a mini challenge. These small games often turn into the most entertaining battles of the night
